1. Objective

To ensure you’re satisfied with your purchase — but if for any valid reason you’re not, we provide a clear, fair process for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

2. Return / Exchange Timeframe

Returns / exchanges accepted within 7 days of delivery date for Indian orders (unless stated otherwise).

For international or special orders, timeframes may differ (to be specified).

If product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order (with evidence).

3. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Product must be in original condition, unused, unwashed, with all tags, labels, packaging intact.
  • Proof of purchase (order number, receipt).
  • Return request must be initiated within the timeframe above.

4. Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

The following are not eligible for returns/exchanges unless faulty:

  • Final sale / clearance items (if specified).
  • Underwear, socks, swimwear (if hygiene/health reasons apply).
  • Customized / personalized items (unless there is a defect or error by us).
  • Gift cards, downloadable products.

5. Return Process

  • Contact our support channels to request return/exchange. Provide order number, item details, reason, photos if applicable.
  • Our team will assess and approve (or decline) the request.
  • If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization and instructions (and address) to ship the item back.
  • You are responsible for safe packaging; use the original packaging if possible.

6. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If return/exchange is due to our error (wrong item, defect, damage): We’ll cover the return shipping cost / provide pre-paid label whenever feasible.
  • If return/exchange is due to buyer’s remorse (e.g. changed mind, size doesn’t fit): You may be responsible for shipping costs back to us.

7. Refunds

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we’ll notify you about whether the refund / exchange is approved.
  • If approved, refund will be issued via the original payment method, within 7-10 business days.
  • In case of exchange, we’ll send the replacement product (subject to stock) as soon as possible after receiving the return.

8. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted if:

  • Item received is not in original condition (damaged, worn).
  • Item is missing parts or is returned without all tags/packaging.
  • Inconsistent with return policy terms.

9. Late / Missing Refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund after 10 business days, please check with your bank/credit card first.
  • Then contact us at support@thesouledshop.in — include order number, proof of bank-delay if possible.

10. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
  • If the replacement is cheaper than the returned item, we’ll adjust the charge or refund the difference.
  • If more expensive, we’ll ask you to pay the additional amount.

11. Refunds for Canceled Orders

  • Orders can only be cancelled if they have not yet been shipped.
  • Once shipped, we follow standard return process.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to update this Return & Refund Policy; changes will be posted on the website with a “Last updated” date.

Your continued purchase after changes implies acceptance of the revised policy.
